welcome to the
Town of Ogden

welcome to the
town of ogden

We’re a friendly and vibrant community in Monroe County, NY with a population of over 20,000 residents. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Rochester, our Town is conveniently located near many of the region’s attractions, while still offering the benefits of rural living.

Centered in the Town is the quaint Village of Spencerport on the canal which boasts successful boutiques, hair salons, a jeweler, coffee houses, restaurants, flower shops, pizza parlors, drug stores, and so much more. The Town and Village host numerous community events that draw in residents and tourists alike, including Canal Days, the Firemen’s Parade, summer concerts and various craft shows.

The Town is home to several beautiful parks and recreation areas. Pineway Ponds Park, located at 1 Park Road, has several spacious lodges for events and numerous baseball, soccer, football, and lacrosse fields. Ogden Heritage Park, on 2750 Spencerport Road, is another of our often-visited parks and the perfect place to spend the day with your family.

The Ogden Community Center houses the Ogden Police Department, Ogden Farmers’ Library, our Parks and Recreation facility and the rest of the Town’s government offices. Our staff are welcoming and approachable, and always eager to help residents in any way we can.

The Town of Ogden is a safe and growing community filled with close-knit families and longtime residents. For more information and/or assistance, please contact Ogden Town Supervisor, Mike Zale at 617-6100 or reach him by email at supervisor@ogdenny.com
