Groups (summer camps, schools, daycares): Planning a visit to our facilities? All groups are required to call in advance with their proposed group visit date. Only a limited number of groups are schedued each day. Please have the following information available:

PARKS
Pineway Ponds Park is located 1/4 mile north of the Village of Spencerport on Route 259 (Union Street). The park features four enclosed lodges, 7 athletic fields, 2 splash pads (seasonal), a large playground, climbing wall, skate board park, a pond, and rest rooms There is plenty of open space for sports, walking, hiking, playing, and fishing.
Snick Hawkins Park is located on the canal on Canal Road. A sign that can be seen from the Canal path identifies the tiny park. The park contains a picnic table & grill. It was updated in 2004 with the help of an Eagle Scout.
Memorial Park is located on Union Street nearly across from Hollink Motor Sports. This park contains monuments that pay tribute to veterans.
It also hosts the annual Memorial Day ceremony.
Heritage Park is in development along the south bank of the Canal off of Lyell Avenue. Future plans include a boat dock, pavilions, and another opportunity for passive recreation!
Buffalo Road Park is a 42-acre plot, currently undeveloped. This park poses a great opportunity for animal watching and nature.
AMENITIES

The Boat Launch is located at Arrowhead Golf Course, 655 Gallup Road. A permit is required for launch use. You may purchase a permit beginning in March at the administrative offices. The cost for a permit is $20 per season.
The Pete Bacher Memorial Skate Park is currently closed.
Pineway Ponds Splash Pad is located in Pineway Ponds Park. The Splash Pad is open Memorial Day-Labor Day, 10am-8pm. The Splash Pad may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance, or other operational concerns. Groups (with 8 or more) are required to complete a group user form. Other policies may be required of groups. Please adhere to the following rules during your visit to the Splash Pad.
- In the event of an emergency, call 911.
- The Splash Pad is unsupervised; use at your own risk.
- Swim diapers are required for children under 4 years old. Do not change diapers on or near the splash pad.
- Swimsuits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times; swim shoes are recommended.
- All children must have adult supervision at all times. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Climbing, hanging, swinging, and pulling on spray equipment is prohibited.
- Running and/or horseplay is prohibited.
- Skateboards, scooters, roller blades, bikes, and other riding toys are not allowed.
- Glass containers, food, and drink are not permitted on the pad surface.
- Athletic equipment, chairs, water toys, balloons, or other foreign objects are prohibited.
- Alcohol is not permitted on or near the splash pad. Tobacco use is prohibited in the park.
- Keep our park clean-- please throw litter in garbage cans.
- No pets, with the exception of service animals, are allowed on the splash pad.
- Vacate the premises when there are any signs of thunder, lightning, or severe weather.
- Be considerate of others. All participants must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe, and family-oriented manner.
Groups (daycare, camps, school, etc)
All groups must contact the Parks and Recreation Office prior to splash pad visit.
Permit is required for groups larger than 8.
Groups cannot be larger than 30 persons.
Groups must have a ratio of 1 adult to every 4 children.

GLENN BOETCHER LODGE
Glenn Boetcher Lodge is unavailable until further notice. If you currently have a rental at Boetcher Lodge you will be contacted.
OWENS LODGE


Owens Lodge
is enclosed and available year round. Amenities include heat, lights, water, stove, microwave, refrigerator, water, bathrooms and outdoor grills. The seating capacity is about 60, but will accommodate 80.
GRAVELLE LODGE


Gravelle Lodge is enclosed and available May through October. Amenities include lights, water, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and outdoor grills. The seating capacity is about 60, but will accommodate 80.
CANAL DAYS LODGE


Canal Days Lodge is available May through October. Amenities include lights, water, stove,, microwave, refrigerator, and outdoor grills. The seating capacity is about 50, but will accommodate 80.

Lodge Reservation Forms
- Town of Ogden residents may reserve a facility up to one year in advance of their event; non-residents may make reservations up to six months in advance.

All persons wishing to reserve a facility may download and
print form or obtain a facility use form from the Ogden Parks & Recreation Department.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I reserve a lodge?
A. Payment and Reservation Forms must be recieved via mail or in-person to rent a lodge. Dates cannot be reserved until payment and/or forms come in. Payment accepted includes check, cash, or money order.
Q. Can I enter facilities the day before to decorate?
A. No, you can only enter facilities on the dates and times you requested on your permit.
Q. When and where do I pick up the keys to the lodges?
A. Key pickup is the Wednesday and Thursday before your reservation by 4:00pm. Keys are to be picked up at the Ogden Parks & Recreation Department Administrative Office. A $50 security deposit is required.
Q. Where do I leave the keys?
A. All keys must be returned to the Ogden Parks and Recreation Department Administrative Office within 3 business days of your rental. Security deposit will be returned pending the policies have been followed; facility, equipment, and grounds are found to be in satisfactory condition, and if key is returned within 3 business days of rental.
Q. Are there bathroom facilities and heat in the lodges?
A.Owens Lodges has bathroom facilities and heat. This lodge is available for year-round rentals.
Q. Is alcohol allowed in the park? Is there a separate fee?
A. Alcohol is allowed in all facilities. There is no extra fee, however, it must be noted on your permit, and a copy of the applicants identification with birthdate is required. (PLEASE NOTE: No glass containers are allowed in the park)
Q. How far in advance can I reserve a lodge or shelter?
A. Reservations are ongoing. Town of Ogden residents may reserve 1 (one) year in advance; non-residents may reserve 6 (six) months in advance.
