Mission Statement:
The Ogden Farmers' Library is a small association library serving the Town of Ogden and Village of Spencerport in western Monroe County, NY. We are a member of the Monroe County Library System, which means that Ogden & Spencerport residents enjoy borrowing privileges at all the public libraries in Monroe County.
Latest News:
Come visit our renovated library! Our library has been renovated. If you haven't been in to see our new space, come check it out. The renovation included not only a face lift for the library in the form of paint and new carpet, but also took steps to make the facility more energy efficient. The outside walls are now insulated and the old lighting has been replace with new energy efficient lighting greatly reducing the number of fixtures needed. In addition, the space is now ADA compliant and features quiet rooms and a spectacular children's area.

Programs

Summer Reading programs for children, young adults and adults begin on Monday, June 28. Visit the library for call 617-6181 for more information.

Story Time at the Gazebo - Every Tuesday (weather permitting) at 11:00 am from June 29 through August 20. All ages. No registration required.

Baby Story and Play for infants newborn to 18 months - June 18, July 16 & August 20 at 11:00 am. No registration required.
- Adult Knitting/Crocheting group meets on the second Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm. Bring your projects and socialize while you work!
- Ogden Book club meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1:00 pm. Please check with the library to see what book is being discussed.
- Water science - Wednesday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. Children ages 6-10 can participate in wacky water experiments. Registration required and begins June 16.
- Red Cross Babysitting Training - Thursday, July 1 from 9 am to 4:30 pm. For ages 11 & up. The cost is $40.00. Registration is required and begins June 1.
- Make a Splash at Your Library Show presented by Buffalo & Brandy - Thursday, July 8 at 2:00 pm. All ages. Registration required and begins June 24.
- Gardeners' Exchange - Monday, July 12 at 7:00 pm.Share tips with other growers, swap a potted plant and enjoy a garden tool raffle. Registration required and begins June 28.

- Closed Saturdays beginning May 29 for the summer
