Mission Statement:
The Town of Ogden Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing diverse, quality, year-round leisure opportunities through the preservation and establishment of open space, park lands, recreational facilities, and programs for the residents of Ogden.  These services are designed to promote the physical, mental, cultural, and social needs of our residents and visitors, while enhancing the overall quality of life in our community.

Please note the following make-up classes from last week's power outage and this week's snow storm.  This list will be updated as classes are added.
Bumper Bowling (cancelled 3/14): extended to April 4 Coed Volleyball (cancelled 3/8 & 3/15):  extended until March 29; additional makeup schedule for Tuesday, March 28
Wednesday morning Strength & Tone (cancelled 3/15): extended to May 3 Wednesday evening Strength & Tone (cancelled 3/8 & 3/15):  TBD
Adv. Open Pickleball (cancelled 3/9):  extended until May 4

Swim Lessons:  remaining classes of session #2 will be extended by a few minutes each week

Sunday Open Pickleball (cancelled 3/12):  The last (4) classes of this session will start 30 minutes earlier (@ 9:30am)

School Age Summer Camp Counselor:  Will assist in all activities led by Camp Supervisors on a daily basis including:  arts and crafts, games, sports, music, theme days, and more.  Must be 16 years of age by June 1, 2017.  For more information, and application please go here or 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport NY 14559.  E.O.E.

Preschool Camp Counselor:  Will assist in all activities led by Camp Director, including:  arts and crafts, games, sports, music, and more. Must be 16 years of age by June 1, 2017.  For more information, please go here or 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport NY 14559. E.O.E.

Before/After School Counselor:  Responsible for the supervision of school-age children and implementation of activities in a recreational setting.  Hours are 7:00-8:45am and 3:30-6:00pm, Monday-Friday during the school year.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have experience working with children.  Applications available

Swim Teacher and/or Lifeguard:  Must be familiar with basic swim strokes and have experience working with children.  Hours are approximately 6:00-9:00pm, Fridays during the school year.  Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.  Immediate start.  Applications available here or 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport NY  14559.  E.O.E.

Parks & Facilities:

Pineway Ponds Park Fields:  All fields are closed for the season.  Permits are required to use fields.  Teams using the fields without a permit will be asked to leave.  Please contact OPRD for further information.

The Splash Pad at Pineway Ponds Park is closed for the season.  It will reopen Memorial Day weekend.

ALL Town of Ogden Parks and Playgrounds are TOBACCO-FREE!  Tobacco use is not allowed on park grounds.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Please make sure all pets are leashed while visiting our Parks.  Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.

No parking on walkways, grass areas, or road sides.  Our Parks have plenty of parking spaces available.
