General Policy The general library objective of the Ogden Farmers' Library shall be:
- To serve Ogden residents of all ages and abilities as a center of reliable information.
- To assemble, preserve and administer, in organized collections, educational, informational, and recreational materials.
- To provide a place where inquiring minds may encounter diverse ideas - sometimes critical, controversial or unorthodox - to stimulate the survival of free competition of ideas. To keep abreast of the changing community needs; to provide programs of service to meet such needs and to cooperate with other organizations, agencies and institutions which can provide programs or services to meet: the community needs.
- To provide opportunity and encouragement for children, young people, men and women to educate themselves continuously.
- The use of the library or its services may be denied for due cause. Such cause may be failure to return materials, or to pay penalties, destruction of library property, disturbance of other patrons or any objectionable conduct on library premises.
