Mission Statement: The Highway Department knows that our roadways are the vital lifelines of our community and that we impact everyone's life of travel. Our department is dedicated to improving and maintaining ours roads, to setting standards, as well as keeping them free of snow and ice to ensure the safety of the general public.
We will strive to accomplish this in the most cost-effective manner possible to our tax payers. The Highway Department also handles drainage issues, brush and leaf pick-up, road signage as well as sanitary sewer and lighting districts.
If you have any concerns with these issues, please feel free to contact us. We firmly believe that maintaining open lines of communication with our residents helps us to operate more effectively and efficiently.

2008 BRUSH AND LEAF PICKUP
We will begin the regular, scheduled brush & leaf pickup the week of April 7th. Our plan is to provide town-wide brush & leaf clean-up beginning in April and continuing as long as the weather permits. During the winter months pickup will be sporadic and weather dependent. Crews will pick up brush, tree limbs and leaves (bagged in biodegradable bags) from no more than one acre lots around your home, within the Town of Ogden, beginning the week of Monday April 7th in quadrant 1. CONCRETE WASTE
If you have concrete that you wish to get rid of please contact our office before placing it by the roadside for pickup. We will come out and assess the pile to determine if we can pick it up or if a town truck must be rented. It will depend on the amount of concrete that you have. Truck rental is $35.
LAWN REPAIRS
Any damage to lawns as a direct result from snow plowing or current town road projects will be repaired, retopsoiled and reseeded by the town. Lawn repairs will be handled as the weather allows and as our work schedule permits. Please remember to regularly water any area on your property that has been top-soiled and seeded by the town.
MULCH will be made available for OGDEN RESIDENTS ONLY at the Town of Ogden Highway facility located at 2432 S. Union Street as our supply allows. This mulch supply is free of charge for all area residents only and NOT FOR CONTRACTORS TO SELL. Contractors should contact our office for specific rules.
