Mission Statement: The Town of Ogden Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing diverse, quality, year-round leisure opportunities through the preservation and establishment of open space, park lands, recreational facilities, and programs for the residents of Ogden. These services are designed to promote the physical, mental, cultural, and social needs of our residents and visitors, while enhancing the overall quality of life in our community.
Latest News & Notes:
10/19: Swim Lessons and Open Swim are cancelled. The lessons will be extended one week, ending December 14.
10/20: Zumba and Open Basketball are cancelled due to our Townwide Garage Sale taking place in the gymnasium.
10/27: Our Department, including the Fitness Center will be closing at 12:00pm. Join us at our Town Trick or Treat event from 2-4pm!

Field Updates: Football field and Baseball #2 are closed. In the event of additional rain, please contact your League Administrator to determine field status. A permit is required for groups to utilize the fields. Please remain off any and all closed fields to prevent damage.
Weather Cancellations: Please check here or call 617-6174 for weather closing information. In the event that Spencerport Central Schools are closed there will be no Preschool, Before/After School Program, or Swim Program. Participants pre-registered for a program will be contacted via phone/email in the event of a cancellation.
2-year old Preschool Assistant Teacher: Responsible for assisting with the planning, implementing, and organizing of the Department's 2-year old Preschool Program. Approximately 12-15 hours/week, Monday-Thursday mornings. Pay begins at $10.40 hour. Minimum qualifications- Associate's Degree (early childhood education preferred) or working towards Associate's Degree plus 1 year experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Swim Teachers and Lifeguards: Proficiency in basic swim strokes required, experience working with children preferred. Must be available Friday evenings (6:00-9:00pm) during the school year. Before/After School Program Counselor: Responsible for the supervision and implementation of activities for school-age children. Hours are School Days, 7:00am-8:45am and/or 3:30-5:30pm. Must be 18 years of age or older. Applications available here or 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport NY. E.O.E.
Parks & Facilities:
Pineway Ponds Park Fields: Permits are required to use fields. Teams using the fields without a permit will be asked to leave. Please contact OPRD for further information.
The Splash Pad is CLOSED for the season. We will reopen Memorial Day and remain open until Labor Day from 10:00am-7:00pm. Please see posted rules and regulations. The Splash Pad may close at any time due to weather, maintenance, or other operational concerns.
ALL Town of Ogden Parks and Playgrounds are TOBACCO-FREE! Tobacco use is not allowed on park grounds. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please make sure all pets are leashed while visiting our Parks. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.
No parking on walkways, grass areas, or road sides. Our Parks have plenty of parking spaces available.
