One of the hallmarks of a caring community is how it provides for its senior citizens. This beautiful and spacious Senior Center is geared specifically for the enjoyment and leisure of the mature adult population, 60 years and above. Recreational, social, educational and health-related programs and services are offered in an ambience that is both elegant and warm. Opportunities for growth abound through a wide variety of recreation and social service programs.
There are many nutritional, social and special programs and events which take place on a regularly scheduled basis including the Nutrition Program, bus trips, pot luck dinners, bingo, cards, pool tables, & more. The Center offers flu shots and blood pressure checks throughout the year. A caseworker is available two Mondays a month to assist people with medical forms and nursing home information.
Other services include:
- Van service to and from the Center is a suggested contribution of $1.00 per visit each way
- Bus trips to a variety of places of interest
- Nutrition Program - serves hot, nutritious meals on Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 12:00 pm. Lunch is a suggested contribution of $3.50.
No person shall be denied benefits or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Assistance on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability or marital status. This program is funded by participants' contributions, the United States Administration on Aging, the New York State Office for the Aging, Monroe County Office for the Aging and the Town of Ogden.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday - Hot meals are served at Noon. Lunch is a suggested contribution of $3.50.
Tuesdays and Thursdays - Those interested bring a bag lunch, play cards and socialize.
Saturday - Every first Saturday night is reserved for potluck dinners, followed by special programs. Bringing a dish to pass is requested.
