DARE Program The Ogden Police DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program offers preventive strategies that focus on the development of self-esteem, empathy, decision making, conflict resolution and alternative activities to drug use. The core program targets the 5th grade. K-4 visitations include lessons on personal safety, 911, gun safety, peer pressure, decision making and the proper use of drugs and medicine.
