The Ogden Senior Center
Located at 200 S. Union Street in Spencerport, New York

There are many nutritional, social and special programs and events which take place on a regularly scheduled basis including the Nutrition Program, bus trips, pot luck dinners, bingo, cards, pool tables, crafts & more.
The Center offers a number of medical programs throughout the year, including diabetes, depression, breast self-exam, flu shots, hearing, cholesterol, and mammogram screenings. A caseworker is available two Wednesdays a month to assist people with medical forms and nursing home information.
Other offerings include
- van service to and from the Center for $2.50 per visit
- bus trips subsidized by the Town, to a variety of places of interest.
Nutrition Program
Did you know the Nutrition Program, serves hot, nutritious meals three days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon. A $2.50 donation is requested. This program is coordinated by Marilyn Burley.
No person shall be denied benefits or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Assistance on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability or marital status. This program is funded by participants' contributions, the United States Administration on Aging, the New York State Office for the Aging, and Monroe County Office for the Aging as the Town of Ogden.

Here at the Senior Center...
WE'RE ACTIVE EVERYDAY !
On Tuesdays, those interested bring a bag lunch and contribute $.50 toward coffee or tea. There are dues in the amount of $12.00 a year for those who wish to belong to this group. A variety of programs such as sing-alongs, bingo, show & tell, and talent shows provide interesting entertainment.
On Thursdays, those interested may join a craft group at 10:00 am. followed by a bag lunch and cards, with much socializing throughout. Birthdays and anniversaries are also celebrated at the Center.
Every first and third Saturday night is reserved for potluck dinners, followed by special programs of card games. A dish to pass, and $.50 for beverages, is required.
